Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Lapid Logistics Ltd is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. This site has been built and tested toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, which underpin the Israeli accessibility standard IS 5568 and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility), 2013.

We aim to conform to those guidelines, but we do not claim full conformance. The site has not been formally or independently audited or certified for accessibility, and accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a finished state.

How we tested

Testing was carried out to the extent possible using a combination of automated checks and manual review: programmatic keyboard-only navigation of every focusable element, measurement of text and interface colour contrast ratios against WCAG thresholds, review of image alternative text and heading and landmark structure, and checks at 200% text enlargement and on narrow (320 px) viewports.

These methods cannot cover every scenario. In particular, testing with real screen readers, voice control and other assistive technologies, and testing by people with disabilities, has not been completed. Some barriers may therefore remain.

Accessibility features on this site

  • Full keyboard navigation with a clearly visible focus indicator.
  • A “Skip to main content” link as the first focusable element on every page.
  • Text and interface colours checked for WCAG AA contrast ratios.
  • Meaningful alternative text for images; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Semantic headings and landmark regions (header, navigation, main, footer) for screen-reader orientation.
  • Respect for the operating-system “reduce motion” preference.
  • Responsive layout that works on desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

The accessibility toolbar

An accessibility toolbar is available at the bottom-left corner of the screen. It is fixed in place and follows you as you scroll, so it is always available on every page. It can be opened and operated entirely by keyboard, closes with the Escape key, and your chosen settings are saved in your browser and re-applied on your next visit.

The toolbar provides exactly the following functions:

  1. Monochrome (black and white) mode.
  2. Sepia mode.
  3. High-contrast mode.
  4. Black background with yellow text mode.
  5. Inverted colours mode (photographs are corrected so they stay natural).
  6. Highlight all headings on the page.
  7. Highlight all links on the page.
  8. Show an image's text description when you hover over or focus it.
  9. Show image text descriptions permanently, as a caption beneath the image.
  10. Switch the site to a more legible font (re-clickable to switch back).
  11. Increase the text size, in steps up to a limit.
  12. Decrease the text size, in steps down to a limit.
  13. Enlarge the whole display to about 200%.
  14. Reduce the whole display to about 70%.
  15. Enlarge the mouse cursor.
  16. Enlarge the mouse cursor and make it black.
  17. Optimise the page for assistive technology: forces a visible focus indicator and switches off decorative animation so the page is easier to follow with a screen reader or other assistive tool. This adjusts the page only — it does not install or provide a screen reader.
  18. Keyboard-navigation mode, with a strengthened focus outline while tabbing.
  19. Stop animations, transitions and moving or blinking elements.
  20. A link to this accessibility statement.
  21. Reset, which clears every accessibility setting and returns the site to default.

The colour modes (items 1–5) are mutually exclusive: turning one on switches the others off, and each can be clicked again to turn it off.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible, and undiscovered issues may exist. Nothing on this page should be read as a statement of legal compliance or as a certification of accessibility. We continue to review and improve the site over time, and we welcome feedback that helps us do so.

Physical accessibility of our office

Our office is located in a building that provides physical accessibility for people with disabilities. For example:

  • The building has a car park with parking spaces adapted for people with disabilities.
  • Our office can be reached without any steps and is convenient for wheelchair users.
  • The building's elevators announce the current floor number aloud, and the floor numbers inside the elevator are also marked in Braille.
  • Both our office and the building lobby have clearly marked entrances with comfortable waiting areas and seating.
  • Additional assistance for various disabilities is available in the building lobby.
